THIRD ANNUAL EVENT...”One Day, Many Generations, Create Lifetime Tribute”.

On Thursday April 22, 2010 a group of NKY Blue Star Mothers, Boone County Alternate School Students and members of Florence Rotary gathered at the Boone County Veterans Memorial to place 15 new pavers in among those previously planted at the memorial.

Working together on hands and knees, each team of mother, student and rotarian dug out the existing blank paver and replaced them with pavers engraved with the names of military sons, daughters and veterans of the NKY Blue Star Mothers.  A total of 80 paver bricks have been planted by this “group of BSM, Students and Rotarians” in the past three years.
